Have you noticed?
I have added a widget...or a donation button on the top of my blog in the memory of an Angel named Calypso, the donation is for a new headstone for her. I have known her mother and family for several years online and I consider them "family". I have her mother as one of my favorite blogs I follow: The Life of A Mother. If you can please, donate something so this family can give their daughter the headstone they want thanks!

POTD: Sleepless Nights
Sleepless Nights
As I stay awake
Are my thoughts are fake
The hurt is still there
And hard to bare
As I wonder why
My trust in one must die
Lying in bed, awake with lights
Having sleepless nights

POTD: Just Tired
Just Tired...
Tired of being unhappy
Tired of feeling crappy
Tired of wanting more
Tired of not being adored
Tired of others not caring
Tired of being daring
Tired of everything
Just Tired

Too tired
I tired to think of a poem of the day for today/tonight but I was just too tired to come up with anything creative so I will have to try again tomorrow.

POTD: Love Me For Who I Am...
Love me for who I am
Love me for who I am,
Not what I am
Look deep into my eyes
And you will see
I am no different
Than you
So please love me
For who I am

Poem of the day: 10/12/08
Please tell me what you will gain
Tell me what you will gain
From my pain?
You may think it a main
goal to see me in pain
That is so lame
What are you gonna gain?
It is not gonna be fame
So why give me the pain
Please tell me what you will gain

Reason for this poem is the fact I am tired of people acting like I do not have feelings or think because I am in a wheelchair I do not have a head on my shoulders. I am just tired of being "robbed" in so many ways and just want to be respected, is that hard? If I want to get on a bus do not tell me it is too full and I have wait until the next one and please do not tell me off or get pissy with me if you have to get off your lazy A$$ to move to the back of the bus to make more room for little ole me. :P

Poetry for 2007
A Heart of A Child (2007)
A child's heart is all what a Mother needs
The Love that a child gives helps the Mother breath
The eyes of happiness of a child has brought a good deed
The warmth of a child's hug brings joy into a Mother's life
The words "I love you Mom" will never stop the Mother being there
A Heart of a Child
Shattered Heart (2007)
Love someone with your whole heart,
Then have to let them go suddenly,
The heart shatters in pieces,
See death and there is nothing that can be done,
Other than try to make peace,
The heart shatters in pieces,
Now all alone in life, no one to love,
All things crashing down at once,
Your Heart shatters in pieces

My Poetry 2000-05
I have decided to share some of my old poetry with you and will try to continue to add more current poetry to my blog as I write them. I hope you enjoy them as much I have written them. Now, these few here that I have done WERE for my ex-husband at the time but since the poems are still pretty good (in my opinion) I still wanted to share them LOL.
Unemployed Disabled Person (2006)
I am a disabled person that is looking for a job...
that will let me use my knowlege.
that will not look at my disability
that will see how motivated I am.
that will be able to help me support my family.
that will not judge my speed.
Isn't it true that the slow and the steady win the race
or was that only a fairy tale?
I hope one day I get a job.
I am tired of being an unemployed disabled person
The Flight (2002)
Dedicated to my husband, the one who helped me slow down my 'Flight'.
As I close my eyes
I see my life flash before them
So fast I can barely keep up
Am I dreaming?
Or is my life rapidly moving
When things become clear
There is fear
I am in a flight
I am looking down as my life is passing by
What can I do?
I focus and I slow down my flight and realize
My life isn't so bad
The flight showed me that I have a life and that I should be grateful
I suddenly open my eyes and found myself grounded
My Love you are My Dove (2002)
Dedicated to my husband, My Dove.
My Love you are My Dove
What we have is more just a fling
You take me under your wing
To protect and give me peace
As you hold me, I am at ease
When I look into your eyes I see love
Which makes me smile like a mile
My Love you are are My Dove
Is it fate? (2000)
Dedicated to my Husband, I love you my soulmate.
Is it fate?
That I met you
Are you my soulmate?
Is it fate?
That we found each other
Are we meant to be?
Is it fate?
That we are in love
Are we that perfect couple?
Is it fate?
That you said "Yes"
Are we able to become family?
Is it fate?
That we are now wedded
Are we forever?
Is it fate?
Dear God (2001)
Dedicated for those who we lost and the survivors of the 911 terrorist attacks
My Dear God,
Please watch over my fellow Brothers and Sisters
Who are suffering from a lot of pain
Give them strength to go on and survive,
Give them courage to smile and to deal with their tragedy
God do not let your Children give up their faith and give up on you.

Going back in time
I feel like I have went back in time like back in the 80s and 90s this weekend lol. I ended up buying The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning and NKOTB's first new album "The Block". Then I also got Jonas Brothers for me and for Alexis to enjoy LOL.
And the sad thing I just had a birthday and I am wondering if I am going backwards instead of forwards in time. LOL

Happy September!
Hard to believe it is September already!
Alexis is back in school and I forgot to mention in the post that I been babysitting a 3 month old for 3 weeks or so now and boy it sure does feel like I do have a Part-Time child again. LOL I have him from 8-5pm M-F while his Mom works but this is only until she can get welfare to take over Daycare funds and she will replace him into another Daycare facility. I did this as favor to her since she is a friend who is also a Single Mom of two.
Before we know it, leaves are going to change colors and Fall will be here and cooler weather will arrive for good. Hard to believe.

The Month of August came and went...
I can not believe how fast this month came then went....
On August 14-17th we had Celebrate Erie here so we went downtown to do some activities and such then and I went to hear the Foreigners and NoMads and Ted O' Bailey I think LOL, along with the fireworks on Sunday as the finale. Then on the 22nd my parents took me the Casino here for my birthday while Alexis got to spend the night with her God Mommy. We did not win any money we only won our money back that we spent. LOL
Aug 23rd- Was one of my Aunt's 80th surprise birthday party so that was fun because we got to see family we had not seen in a long long time!
August 24th was my 34th birthday and I finally was able to get my laptop thanks to my rent rebate money and some other money I been saving up for this occasion....Happy Birthday to me! :)
We also go to my Aunt's to have a family get together again and have Chop Suety-Yummy!
August 25th~ 1st day of school for Alexis as a 1st grader and she gets her Kindergarten teacher again which made all of us happy. So far she is doing great is school and is now reading "I can read" books to me. I am so proud of her!
August 30th~ A good guy friend of mine takes me and Alexis to a German Festival with lots of German foods and music and farm animals to be petted and feed. Also, some bouncy inflation castles for kids to bounce in too. Alexis had a blast.
We sure did have a busy and a fun August!

What a Blast of Weekend!!! Plus my Baby is truly Growing up!
Well it is official, My baby is growing up!!!!
On Friday July 18th, Alexis got her ears pierced! My PCA/friend Kym and I took her to get her ears pierced at Claire's (we tried Wal-Mart on Thursday but they had no gloves to do it yeah). She only cried for a few seconds when they first did it (They put both earrings in at the same time). Then afterwords we went our friends' to go swimming in their pool and Alexis did great in the water! She even put her face in the water and so forth, she was proving to me she was growing up!
Then Saturday the 19th, was her birthday party, I was feeling bad because only one of her friends could show up. But my Mom and decided to try calling the family over but we did this at the last minute and Mom called everyone like that Thursday night and left messages so no one had returned her calls so we had no idea who would be coming or not. Just say everyone she called came! I was as surprised as Alexis was. And her birthday party turned out pretty nice depite only having one friend there. :) She got really nice gifts too.
Oon Sunday the 20th was a day of water fun, she just loved having fun with her Wet Slip N' Slide and her pool and her Sprinkler/punching bag.

Happy 6th Birthday to my Princess!
I can't believe my Alexis has turned 6 today! I gave her my presents today, then we went to Chucky E. Cheese's and had some Mommny and Daughter bonding time. Then we came back home and celebrated more with the grandparents and with her God Mommy and a girl from upstairs and had a birthday cake.

Had a surprise coming home after the 4th weekend...
We were robbed! Well, when we first drove up the driveway the back door was slightly ajared and while I was in shock I was not surprised because we had problems keeping that door closed toight for a week or two BUT the thing was my Mom double checked it and made sure it was locked tight before we left Thursday night! But she did go and check things out and did not notice anything out of place or missing EXCEPT our one cat- Angel Prince! At that time we did hear him meowing and coming to us. Thank goodness he was not far from us and came back "home". The question was how long was he out and how long was the door open? Well, according to my PCA/upstairs neighbor when they came home that afternoon (they been at camp for the rest of the time)- my door was closed when they came home Sunday afternoon so apparently my door came open after 5pm-11pm. BUT when I got myself ready for bed and after my Mom left I realized my one bank was open and messed up and all my stuff in it was gone! Then something told me to look in my jewelry boxes and that is when some of my jewelry was also missing! I ended up calling the police about it the next day and then also discovered whoever took my stuff must had taken my backpack to take "my loot" because my backpack was gone as well! And yes I do have my suspiousions of who it may be. And I am sad that this happened because it is childlish and wrong!

Happy 4th of July to us!!!
Well, this was the lowest key 4th of July I ever had like forever....
it was just my parents and Alexis and I this year and all we did was throw some noise poppers on the sidewalk and lit some caps for cap guns and then later on go see some fireworks at a local amusement park that only lasted about 8 minutes. LOL Then we came home (to my parents) to do sprinklers.
Here are some pics:

My Star- Alexis and SCHOOL IS COMING TO AN END!
My Alexis preformed in her Spring concert last Friday at school and it was so cute!
They did all the grades and Kindergarden was the last group to go up and they sang the song, "School is coming to an end". She ended up also having to go up the microphone to say a line (about the song) but she was an understeady though she was replacing another child who was sick that day. ;)
Here are some pics and a video sample of what they sang:
And here is a video of her singing the song that they sang (I did video it but the sound came out badly so she sang it to me solo! For everyone to hear. ;) )

Well does my face hurt? You Ask
Well 2 weeks ago it sure did! On a Thurday evening May 22, 2008 I went out to find/meet with someone and well I did not want to be on our nasty sidewalks so I got off of them and wemt our road (off road/back roads) when all of the sudden I hot a pot hole and my face caught my fall. My left upper face near my left eye got it good. My glasses even got bent and scratched up. :( I will need new lens. I was able to the frames back into shape thanks to the optical place where I got them (Sears). Yes, I still got the scabs and bruises but not as bad as they were then.

Kindergarten Zoo Trip
That is right I volunteered to help out with Alexis' Kindergarten Field trip and they asked all those who volunteered to take their child plus one more. I just wish I did not come down with round @2 of sinus infection attack and nd up suffering during the day as well. I thankfully was able to get another round of antibotics for it as well. But anyhow, Alexis was able to be partnered up with one of her favorite buddies at school and it went well overall depite my sickness.
