Angel Prince and his ouchie :(

Well for those who don't know but Angel Prince got a hernia and he pretty much had since his birth but it got worse or noticable when he was about 2 months old. I took him in to the vets in October to have him checked over and get his shots when it was confirmed that he did have a hernia and nothing else. And was told we could wait until he was 6 months or so when I get him fixed and do two birds with one stone and get that taking cared of surgically. As long it didn't get worse or wrap around his intestines and that he was eating okay and BELIEVE ME he is eating JUST FINE. LOL

Well okay it is not really the real thing, it is Springfield Doll collection series from A.C. Moore and only $15.99 but it beats $102!!!! Here two outfits we bought averaged about $13.00 extra but we had a coupon for $6 off so...but hey she did not care.

Oh my where has the time gone! A New Year has Come!

I can't belive it. It has been so long since I posted here. I been a little busy you can say. Some of you know what has been going on my life so I won't bore you with all the details here now.

But I will summarize what has been going on since I been on here.

~Still Single since my ex-bf left me in July.
~Our kitten Angel Prince is now 6 months old but has a hernia but we are looking into surgery as well getting him nutered.
~Alexis is doing great in Kindergarten and we made arrangements for her to take a public transit bus to school so she won't have to walk in the snow or in the bad weather.
~I became a great-aunt again to #4 on December 9th 2007 to Amber Rose.
~My laptop is on it's final leg and I have to use tape to hold its power cord in place or I would not be updating this blog right now.
-Oh yeah, HAPPY 2008 EVERYONE!

I think that pretty much sums it up for now. I will post again if I have anything else to add LOL.

Miracle 8 weeks ago!

Hard to believe these kittens are 7 weeks here...then below 8 weeks! I helped these kittens be born, their mama gave birth to them here at my home. The mama cat is a friend of mine's who I was sitting for at the time. These two kittens are survivors out of 6. The other 4 did not make it due to the fact they were still stuck to the after birth of the mother cat and we had no clue until it was too late. The kitten on the left lost her back paw because it, but it was either her paw or her life. That is why my friend calls her "Miracle", which is her kitten. The kitten on the right of course is our kitten given by the friend, named "Angel Prince" just because he must be an angel to have gone thro everything he had. He ended up having a belly button scar for the same reason.

My Swimmer!

My Swimmer!
We went swimming at our friends' pool probably for the last time for the summer season and WOW my baby became a big girl this time and wanted to swim without floaties (they had a 3ft deep area). And she finally swam and kicked some water along. She was thrilled so was mommy. She still has some practice to do yet before I or even her will go beyond the 3ft part but who knows maybe we can work on that next year. ;)
