I just can not believe how worn out I am today/night after what seems us going and going non-stop since last Wednesday! I feel like I could sleep for a week but I just can't. I even think Alexis is starting to feel it as she has been a bit crank herself. I just hope her going back to school tomorrow won't be affected. I also do not think me coming down with more sinuses issues help either. I been having more post nasal drip which I feel going down my throat and it is cause me to have a sore throat as well. :( I sure hope after tomorrow or at least by Wednesday everything will be back to normal as our schedules and our lives go. Because my body is worn out!

Happy Easter????
Well Today was Easter and yes it was suppose to be Happy. I decided to celebrate
and have Easter at my parents vs home since Alexis now knows the "truth". So, the night before I had my mom help hid her baskets like I would normally then before I went to bed I asked her to please to wake me up for breakfast time so I can eat with everyone on Easter AM and then Alexis can do her search for her baskets etc....
Well, Alexis comes in Easter AM to say to me wake up Mommy breakfast is going to be ready soon so I say okay hunny. So, I start to get up and my Mom comes in to notify me that Alexis has been fed already because did not want to have make her wait etc...and that I can still eat with her...So I finally get down stairs but Alexis is not there, she is upstairs playing on the computer. My Mom had to almost beg her to come downstairs to have Easter with us and to actually look for her baskets! I was in shock! Especially, when my Mom just gave me grief that it was not fair I make HER wait for me to get up before she can see or look for her gifts on Christmas or on Easter. ugh.
She FINALLY comes down and admits to me she already knew where the baskets were! She said she found them earlier in the AM when she first woke up. Part of me was furious at my parents for letting her "look" without me but again I was not sure if they were in the room at the time or not...but I was not happy with their response. She was excited you can't blame her for that can you? Yes, I can when I told her the night before to wait until mommy woke up. So, at this point I was thinking why did I wake up for again? Especially to the fact as soon she got out the baskets out from the hiding spots she ran back upstairs to the computer again!
What also made me want to knock her out was the fact her grandparents got her a basket of stuff. Mainly she got a sweatshirt and my mom added her name on it and I was trying to be funny by saying, "Oh you lucky, I want one too". So instead of keeping her mouth shut, Alexis goes, "Do not worry you got one too"! That really irritated me so much, she knows better to keep stuff like that quiet. That really bummed me out it was like I could not be excited about ANYTHING that day because if my daughter.
And when I mentioned to my Mom that I kinda wish I had help keeping her off the computer, because my parents would not tell her no or would not tell her stay downstairs or anything if I were to tell Alexis to stay. It is not like I could keep going upstairs to tell her no. This is what my mom said to me: Oh you want her off the computer and just be bored to death because there is nothing else to do? I go no, she will be with me because it is Easter! I even mentioned to her that is why I am not on my laptop etc...
And that is when my Mom rubbed it in my face, now you know how it feels when you are on your laptop all the time when Alexis wants to be with you etc...I went excuse me?!? I am only on my laptop when there in nothing else to do!!!
Happy Easter eh? Just say, after this discussion we had a family drive to drop off some Easter gifts off to my Sisters and pick up my Easter candy I forgot that my Aunt made me at my Aunt's then we came back to my house. What a long weekend.

Easter with Da Fam...
Alexis colored some eggs before we went to visit da family for Easter:
****************
On Saturday, we celebrated Easter with my Dad's side of the family and well we got to see some family we had not seen or got to seen since summer. It felt good and nice to see them. What made it special was my younger cousins who are in their younger 20s even included Alexis in stuff like playing some board games and such because she was the ONLY "kid" there. The only thing was when she felt she was loosing or no one was was letting her win, they would "let her win" once in awhile on purpose lol. I enjoyed it too because I got to bond with my young cousins again and it caught up with their lives. And what was cool about this day too is the fact, my Aunt makes her own chocolate and it is so yummy and she gave everyone their own "baggy" of chocolates as a gift. And all I can say is YUMMY!

Happy GOOD Friday Everyone!
Today I went to see my Mom's family and I had a good time. I had to get up early though then we traveled about two hours to see them. My Grandmother and my two Uncles live in this town together-in fact they even live on the same street LOL. But we are all grateful this Easter for several reasons:
My Grandmother is a Breast Cancer Survivor she just battled and had to undergo breast hysterectomy last year. And my one Uncle just had some heart troubles that they took cared of just last week! All he had was irregular heart beats and they fixed his electrolytes in his heart so now his heart is beating regular and will never have that problem again.
It was nice to see everyone there too because we had not seen them all winter long. And I got to see one of my baby cousins again and boy did she grow!
Here are some Pics I took that day of Alexis and me:

A Girl's Day Out
Today my friend, Tina and Alexis & I decided to get our hair cut as well colored (well Tina & I). Then afterwords, we saw the Easter Bunny at the Mall. The only problem was it took three hours just to do our hair. And it was 7:00pm before we got done. So it it was about 7:15pm we we got to the Easter Bunny. We were all starving at this point and I was still was hoping to get some chocolates at a local chocolate/candy store up the street and the bus was on its way to the mall at 7:50pm. So we get that bus to get that store but I tell my friend and kid to just me at Wal-Mart because there was a subway there plus there was a couple things we needed there. The catch was we needed to leave there by 9:40pm. As it was the last bus back to town/home for the evening. Well needless to say because my daughter could not make up her mind on a "Easter gift/basket" she wanted from me, we missed the last bus! So that left us calling the disabled yellow cab to get us, which usually costs $10 per person to go only 4 miles away. And since this cab only can fit one wheelchair it costs us $20 total which is BS. So by the time we got home it was about 11pm or so. And one of my guy friend's had to come over to drop off some candy for Alexis. So, just say I am dead tired from my girl's day out.

I am a Sinner, you are Sinner, Hell we all are!
Yep that is right, we are all sinners and if you do not believe that, you are going to Hell. LOL Well that is what I learned tonight and know from my faith. So please do be offended by this post if you have a different faith than me. I just wanted to blog that I went to a Catholic Church tonight and no I am not Catholic but a Methodist but was invited to go by a friend so I went. But the Father I listened to tonight was awesome and a great speaker and he did help me open my eyes a bit more or at least help me re-open them.
Here is a video I want to share with you - it is the same Father who I saw tonight:
and here is another video that touched me for the night by the same Father that spoke at the church I went to tonight:
Again I hope this blog/post touched you as much it did me tonight.

I thought the Home is where the HEART is?
Well apparently I am wrong!
I got a freaking letter today from the landlady telling me otherwise and reminded me the house I am staying in and paying rent for is HER house! Let me explain:
Ok last Friday,
One of their daughters called me to asked me if I had rent ready now this threw me since I thought she was still in HS and why should she be doing their job for them so I asked her: Why was she calling instead of her parents? And her reply was because her mom asked her too then she passed the phone over to her mom. The landlady then tells me she asked her to call etc...and then again asked me if I had my rent money ready and if I would be available within that next hour I said yes.
Ok, so 4:15pm comes and the door knocks I tell Alexis to let her in and to get my purse so I can fill out the MO. (I was in the living room still). So, after I try to say hello, I ask Alexis is she inside? She goes no. I told Alexis well invite her in! I am thinking to myself why wouldn't she come in but oh well. I try to say hello again but nothing. I then give Alexis the MO to give the land lady and that was that.
Fast forward to today,
I get a letter in my mailbox with no postage stamp:
And in this letter it states how I was disrespectful to their daughter when she called and They will not tolerate that because their daughters work with them at their family business. And she also complained about "standing outside of MY OWN house for 12 minutes in the rain" And she now wants me to either mail my rent to them or drop it off at their place because she refuses to stand outside of "her" house again. Oh she also said, "If you are not happy you are welcome to find a different house." And I am not! The only problem as of May I am stuck here unless I find something better via section 8. :(
Now let me explain something to you all. Yes, I know I had it good when it came to paying rent because the landlord (the husband) always came to me because he knew I could not drive and it was easier for him to come to me. When most landlords do expect you to go to them But in this case she is punishing me for her wrong doing. I would never make anyone STAND outside in the rain. And two, I was not disrespectful to her kid and if I was...who was the elder in this case? I feel I am being the one being disrespected.
I been very upset that this woman keeps calling this place her "home" when she does not even live here and even take care of the place. Sure it is her property but that is all in my book!
When I cool down some, I am planning on talking to her husband-the landlord who I been getting along with the most part and explain to him that this letter is unfair and I was not rude or being disrespectful in anyway. And I could not help the fact, she did not come in when my daughter opened the door for her etc..I thought she was in for quite out loud! And it was no 12 minutes, it was maybe 5 minutes. Hopefully he will listen and understand, if not I do not know what I am going to do. :(
