Just Amazing how...

It is just amazing how kids bounce back so easy after being sick....Alexis feel 180 degrees better after yesterday it does not even seem like she was even sick at all! I wish I had her energy though wow! I am still paying for that night/day. lol

So not fair...

All winter long my Alexis been fighting off sickness and been so healthy until recently :( last week I had her stay home due having a bad cough and having a sore throat, and having a stuffy nose. All signs of a common cold but she looked and sounded miserable so I did not have her go to school. She missed school for the first time for the whole school year. :( But anyhow, she got better and went to school the next day and been "fine" every since. Until last night that is, at 12:52AM she woke up out of bed and ran to the bathroom thinking she had to throw up but did not. She started to talk to me and said I really think I do, I told her go back in the bathroom hunny. All of sudden it came out, my baby did throw up. I was praying maybe it was just the food we had that night (we went to Dairy Queen). But she also had a 100.3 temp. :( After talking to her and comforting her she went back to bed...I decided to stay up just in case this happened again...sure enough about an hour later she jumped out of bed and ran to the toilet again :(. Not so bad this time and her temp was a bit down but still evaluated. But when she came back to bed she just could not get back to sleep she was so thirsty and hot. So by the time we both got settled for the night was about 5AM and we had to get up by 7AM for school..
When the alarm went off she seemed fine she still had a slight temp 98.9 and plus she had not eating anything so I decided I better just keep her home to make sure everything stays fine and foiod stays down and her temp does not get any worse. :(

Well thank goodness she has been able to keep everything down, only issue is she still has a temp. It averages around 99.9 so hopefully with some Tylenol it will knock that out. :(

She also ended up taking a 2 hour nap today so you know she is fighting something. :(

I hope she can go to school tomorrow though.

Happy Day for Mommy and Lexie too!

Well today was a happy day for Mommy and Alexis too. Why because Alexis got to go to Chucky E. Cheese's and have some fun! And Mommy had a happy day because she finally got her new camera she been shopping for LOL.

Mommy got her new camera first at Best Buy. I end up getting a Kodak EasyShare 10.0 M1033 and I was comparing it with a Canon and decided I wanted the Kodak because it had a 32 meg internal memory where as the canon compared did not.

And well I tell you this past month I had enough stress to last me a long time.

I was told my my ex-h that he has purchase plane tickets to have our daughter from June 22-July 5th which means he will not only have her on Father's Day but also for the 4th of July. Not what we discussed, and it has ruined our plans I planned for "us" but of course, did he consider that or call me to confirm the dates? Of course not. Then I was told by Section 8, I am not allowed to move out once my lease is reactivated unless these 3 factors occur; A fire, a natural disaster or I become ill from this house some how. Of course, I can break the lease anytime and loose all my section 8 benefits too.

Almost had a death in the family...

And it was me wanting to kill our one cat...Angel Prince...Why?

My Mom and I were in the other room getting ready to go my parents on Friday when all of the sudden we heard a boom and a scream: It was Alexis screaming, so My Mom ran out to the living room first, me to follow; we saw Alexis in my chair fine but she was pointing to the floor and we saw our Beta Fish on the floor with the water poured out! We then comprehended that the Angel Brat must have knocked off the fish aquarium off the entertainment center so my Mom immediately grabbed the aquarium and took it to the kitchen and we both realized we needed stilled water so I told her about our spring water bottles that we had on the floor under the kitchen table. She poured that water in the aquarium as fast as she could and all we could do then was wait and see to make sure the shock would not kill Ella the Beta fish. But she seemed fine thank goodness. Before we left we rearranged how she was on the entertainment center and made sure there was no room for a cat to get up there this time!

But once we had that all settled (even before so) I even put Angel Prince's nose up to it and said no and spanked his butt again. But I tell ya, even Alexis was mad at him that day and I was not joking I was ready to throw him in the snow that day (but of course have him run back in like a wimp ). I think that was the first time he saw me that mad at him. And hopefully the last.
